From Potential to Opportunity
Young refugees possess immense talent, determination, and potential. Yet too often, they face barriers to the opportunities, skills, and support systems needed to fully participate in economic and social life.
Our work helps bridge that gap by equipping youth with leadership capabilities, practical skills, and access to networks and pathways that support meaningful livelihoods. Through this approach, we aim to unlock potential, strengthen resilience, and promote long-term inclusion, self-reliance, and dignity.

Youth & Leadership Development
Young people are a vital force in shaping Kenya’s future, yet many continue to face barriers to leadership pathways, mentorship, and economic opportunity. This program seeks to unlock their potential by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and support systems needed to participate fully in civic, social, and economic life.
Our approach integrates leadership development, civic awareness, and employability support to help youth transition from potential to active participation, and from participation to lasting impact. Through mentorship, skills-building, community engagement, and access to practical opportunities, we empower young people to become confident leaders, engaged citizens, and productive contributors to society.
Women & Inclusive Governance
Inclusive development is only possible when women participate fully and meaningfully in economic, civic, and governance processes. This program is designed to strengthen women’s economic independence, leadership capacity, and decision-making influence at both community and institutional levels.
Women in refugee and host communities play a critical role in sustaining households, building enterprises, and shaping community life. Yet many continue to face structural, social, and economic barriers that limit their opportunities and voice. Our work supports women and girls to strengthen practical skills, access opportunities, and build the confidence needed to lead and participate more effectively.
Alongside this, we work with communities and institutions to promote inclusive governance, equitable policies, and supportive systems that enable women’s leadership to flourish. By combining individual empowerment with systems-level engagement, we contribute to more inclusive communities and more balanced, representative decision-making.
Peace, Security & Civic Engagement
Peaceful, cohesive, and civically engaged communities are essential for sustainable development. This program works to strengthen community dialogue, mutual trust, and active participation in order to prevent conflict, reduce exclusion, and support social stability.
Our approach promotes safe and inclusive spaces where communities can engage in dialogue, address tensions constructively, and strengthen local mechanisms for peacebuilding. We support community-led initiatives that foster understanding, encourage participation, and build stronger relationships between citizens, local leaders, and institutions.
By promoting civic awareness, social cohesion, and inclusive engagement, we help communities navigate challenges more peacefully and contribute more actively to public life and local development.
Education, Skills & Digital Inclusion
Access to education, practical skills, and digital tools is increasingly essential for navigating modern life, accessing opportunity, and participating fully in society. For refugees and other underserved populations adapting to new environments, these resources can be transformative, opening doors to learning, livelihoods, and social connection.
This program is designed to expand access to quality learning opportunities while building practical, future-ready skills that improve resilience, employability, and participation. Through education support, targeted training, and increased digital access, we help individuals build confidence, strengthen their capabilities, and prepare for a changing social and economic landscape.
We take a practical and inclusive approach that combines education, skills development, and digital inclusion to reduce barriers and ensure that individuals and communities are better equipped for the future. By investing in learning and technology-enabled opportunity, we support more inclusive pathways to dignity, independence, and long-term development.
